Every year the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg takes place right in the streets of the city’s downtown. As St. Pete is my hometown, I was extremely excited at the opportunity to write copy for this event through Tires Plus and Firestone accounts at PPK.
The Grand Prix is the inaugural race of the NTT IndyCar Series each year, so it’s a prime opportunity to drive spread brand awareness towards all included brands among the IndyCar community.
And as Firestone is also the official tire of the NTT IndyCar Series, these races serve as a major proof point for the product.
The resulting campaign:

This concept is inspired by a Romain Grosjean quote:
