NATIONAL PEDIATRIC CANCER FOUNDATION

Fashion Funds the Cure

One of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s signature fundraising events is a fashion show where children with cancer walk the runway, share their stories, talents, and dress up as their dream professions with volunteer models.

Some kids want to be doctors, chefs, ballerinas. Some want to be like, Spiderman. It’s great.

Previous ads focused on it being a fancy networking event, but I wanted to keep the focus on the kids and their stories, and the feel-good aspect of the experience.

Sunshine Project

The NPCF stands out for focusing not only on funding research, but also for transforming how hospitals conduct it. There’s a focus on collaboration, rather than competition.

By joining the Sunshine Project, hospitals share resources and participate in nationwide research trials, improving research speeds and access to care.

MLB Awareness

We were given an opportunity to place a print ad in an MLB promotional book distributed to every attendee of that year’s Minor League Finals.

We saw a thematic tie connecting the developmental opportunity of athletes in the Minor Leagues with the developmental opportunity of survivors of pediatric cancer.
